EE&T student wins prestigious award from Agere Systems Australia.
Congratulations to Natalia Galin on being selected as one of the winners of the Agere Systems Australia internships, the Undergraduate Award for Excellence in Microelectronics Design and Telecommunications Engineering.
Agere Director of Electronics and ICT Australia Divisions, Jennifer Liston, commented in a letter to Natalia: "The applications received this year were excellent and it was difficult to choose the winners however your project proposal and excellent academic performance captured the attention of the judging panel. Congratulations!"
The internship will provide Natalia with an excellent opportunity to gain valuable industry experience working with a cutting edge microelectronics design team.
In addition to the paid 12 week internship, Agere has awarded a cash scholarship.
This is the first
time the Internship has been won by a student in the School
of EE&T at UNSW.
